La Tuilerie

This cottage was born from a beautiful family story, that of siblings, Angéline, Jean-Charles & Bérénice!

Indeed, in 2024, we decided to carry out this joint project by renovating this 70s house to welcome guests who wish to discover our beautiful region where we were born, the Region of the Châteaux of the Loire and the ZooParc de Beauval located only 5km away.

This cottage can accommodate up to 15 people, consisting of 5 double bedrooms and 1 master suite, each with a bathroom with walk-in shower and private WC for your family and/or friends to enjoy the joy of being together, in the countryside, in a haven of peace and quiet!

A large garden is planted with trees and enclosed for the safety of children, as well as private parking for your cars and a secure room for your bicycles.

Books, board and outdoor games, and a barbecue are also available.

And don't forget your binoculars if you like to observe wildlife, deer or squirrels may visit you!

Description of the cottage:

On the ground floor:

- A spacious kitchen, fully equipped for 15 people opening onto the furnished terrace where you can have your meals or relax in the garden furniture, provided and enjoy a breathtaking view of the castle and the sunset!

- A living room/lounge equipped with 2 sofas and a television.

- A bedroom with a 140 x 200 double bed with private bathroom and toilet. This room is accessible to people with disabilities (wheelchair), but not to people with reduced mobility.

On the first floor :

- Three double bedrooms with 140 x 200 or 160 x 200 cm beds with private bathroom and WC.

On the second floor:

- A master suite with a dormitory for 5 people (3 single beds of 90 x 200 cm and a double bed of 160 x 200 cm) with private bathroom and WC.

- A bedroom with a double bed 140 x 200 cm with private bathroom and WC.

On request, we provide a travel cot, a bathtub, a high chair and a potty for babies.

All that's left is to make some lovely memories!

We are committed to making your bed before your arrival!

Bath towels are not provided, they can be rented on site (€7/person for a maxi bath towel and a hand towel).

Jean-Charles welcomes you... unless he is harvesting or it is lambing time!

So, we will put the keys in a nice box and Jean-Charles will come to visit you as soon as he is available to answer all your questions or give you some advice on the must-see tourist places to visit during your stay.

We are sensitive to our environment, which is why we have installed a composter in the garden and we ask you to sort your waste.

We accept pets because we love them, but please do not leave them unattended!

The cottage is located in Châteauvieux, a picturesque village located at the bottom of a rocky spur where the castles culminate, 5 minutes from Beauval, in the heart of the many castles of the Loire, such as Chenonceaux, Amboise, Montpoupon, Valençay, Blois, Chambord, Loches ...

Just 5 km from the Beauval ZooParc, Châteauvieux is full of discoveries! Start with a walk through the village, then go hiking along the troglodyte dwellings.... Don't miss the castle with its main buildingThis Renaissance building, remodeled in the 19th century, is built on feudal remains. Next door, the early 13th-century church and its 15th-century seigneurial chapel adjoin the old cemetery where Royer-Collard, a 19th-century philosopher and politician, is buried. New for 2025! Construction of a cycle route along the Cher River and the Berry Canal, which connects Montluçon to Tours. Named "Heart of France by Bike," this 300 km route is a true journey to the center of France. This route allows tourists to discover the curiosities of the Val de Cher Controis at their own pace.
