We offer a new concept: The rental of private rooms and family suites with shower room and WC.

This accommodation offer is suitable for those who wish to visit the ZooParc de Beauval while limiting their budget!

Description of the family suite:

In a house restored in 2023, we rent 5 rooms including a family suite with two separate bedrooms, ideal for a couple with children. It is located on the second and last floor and is completely private!

We provide two rooms composed of:

- A double bed with its private bathroom (shower) and WC as well as a storage space.

- A double bed and 2 single beds with private bathroom (shower) and WC

For the friendliness and comfort of our guests, common areas are available to you:

- A fully equipped kitchen with a filter coffee maker, and Nespresso coffee maker, kettle, toaster, refrigerator, hob, microwave, oven and dishwasher .... Breakfast is not included in the service.

- A lounge area, library (children's books) with sofas opening onto the outdoor terrace

- A space for meals (removable tables)

- A large, wooded, enclosed garden for the safety of children, as well as private, closed parking .

- An outdoor garden furniture set is installed on the terrace during the summer period as well as deckchairs

- A wood or charcoal barbecue

- Outdoor games are available on request! (soccer ball, petanque balls, rackets, etc.)

The house is located at the entrance to the charming village of Châteauvieux, a village labeled "star village in 2012", picturesque at the bottom of a rocky spur where the castle culminates.

Beauval ZooParc is 5 minutes away by car and 15 minutes by bike, in the middle of the Loire Valley castles, such as Chenonceaux, Amboise, Montpoupon, Valençay, Blois, Chambord...

We are committed to making your bed before your arrival!

Bath towels are not provided, they can be rented on site (€7/person for a maxi bath towel and a hand towel).

Jean-Charles welcomes you... unless he is harvesting or it is lambing time!

So, we will put the keys in a nice box and Jean-Charles will come to visit you as soon as he is available to answer all your questions or give you some advice on the must-see tourist places to visit during your stay.

We accept pets because we love them, but we thank you for not leaving them unattended!

Châteauvieux is a picturesque village located at the bottom of a rocky spur where the castle culminates, 5 minutes from the ZooParc de Beauval, in the heart of the many castles of the Loire, such as Chenonceaux, Amboise, Montpoupon, Valençay, Blois, Chambord, Loches ...

Châteauvieux is a treasure trove of discoveries! Start with a walk through the village, then go hiking along the troglodyte dwellings... Don't miss the castle with its Renaissance main building, remodeled in the 19th century and built on feudal remains. Next door, the early 13th-century church and its 15th-century seigneurial chapel adjoin the old cemetery where Royer-Collard, a 19th-century philosopher and politician, is buried. Finish your walk with the hydraulic balance.

The paths around the cottage are ideal for hiking!

New for 2025! Construction of a cycle route along the Cher and the Berry Canal, which links Montluçon to Tours. Named "Heart of France by Bike," this 300-km route is a true journey to the center of France. This route allows tourists to discover the curiosities of the Val de Cher Controis at their own pace.
